I hope you had a good weekend. I was impressed by how quickly the pupils settled back in to school last week and already I have seen some excellent learning taking place. On Friday I showed our Chair of Governors (Sue Cranfield) around the school. We meet once a month with a different focus and on this occasion we looked at the working walls which were a focus on the INSET day. Both Sue and I have been impressed by how quickly the pupils have made use of these learning tools and this reflects very positively on the staff.
I have been on day 3 of my OFSTED training today with the final day being held tomorrow – unfortunately this means that I won’t be on the gate until Wednesday. If you have any issues then please contact the school office.
In the newsletter on Friday I highlighted that there will be a non uniform day on the 21st June in order to generate donations for the tombola at the Summer Fair. I also mentioned that on the 3rd July the PTA will be holding a tester session at 7:30pm – if you would like to join the PTA or simply know a little more about how it operates than please come along.
Finally the Reception parents information for this week has been updated.
