I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. This week we have a lot going on in school including visits from some of our local secondary schools, a non uniform day (Friday – please bring in donations for the Tombola) and, on Friday, the first ever Network 10 Cup which will see our Y5/6 football team compete against schools from the local area.
Preparations are under way for integrating our new staff in to the school. On July 8th the new staff members will attend a staff meeting and work with their new colleagues and on July 10th all new staff will be at the school for transition day. As a school we value the excellent work carried out by the departing staff and these induction processes will ensure that the good work done at Park Hill will be continued and built upon. Exciting times are ahead.
Congratulations must go to a group of our Y6 pupils who, on Saturday, attended the finals of a Coventry book quiz – the pupils did really well and were only 4 points away from the team that won. Thank you to Mrs Bailey for giving up two hours of her Saturday and to our parents who supported the event.
The Summer Fair is on the 29th June and if you have not yet signed up for the event which is sponsored by Swim With Sharon then please do…your help really is needed.
Finally, if you are a reception parent, the weekly learning update is now available.
