I hope you all had a good weekend. This week we have a number of events taking place in school including:
- The start of cooking club – in the summer term we ran a very successful Indian restaurant which proved to be a massive success. This term Mrs Kerby will be assisted by Miss Nickerson in the running of a Italian themed event.
- Children in Need day on Friday – this day is a non uniform day with all proceeds going to this worthwhile event.
- Class LG’s assembly on Friday morning – consequently Rewards Assembly will now be moved to Thursday at 9:10am.
Next week we will be taking on the theme of anti-bullying. As mentioned previously, all our assemblies will be linked to this theme (Tuesday’s assembly is open to all parents who wish to attend and will begin at 9:10am) along with PSHE sessions in class and other core learning. The aim is to give the topic as much profile as possible so that we can work in partnership to help eradicate bullying from all schools.
The Reception weekly information has now been added.
Finally, I was on a course yesterday morning and so unable to be on the gate. The rest of this week I am in school and will be back on the gate to welcome all pupils in to school.
Thanks for your support,
