This Friday we will be holding a WW1 day which has a number of events taking place that we feel the children will benefit from and get a lot out of. As mentioned in the letter last week, children may come dressed in WW1 attire, a Brownie, Guide, Rainbows, Scout, Beaver, Cubs or similar clubs clothing. There will be a collection fro the Royal British Legion although we appreciate we ask you to support the school in many fundraising activities and so please don’t feel that you are obliged to on this occasion. In the letter last week the wording appears to have been unclear about the 3pm event where parents are invited to bring a small snack to share with their child whilst they talk about their learning experiences. This event is open to all parents in all year groups and not any specific class. Should it rain then we will hold the event in classes and if you have more than one child you are welcome to spread your time between the two.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you.
