This week in school has been incredibly busy with many positive learning experiences taking place. Next week I will be writing to you and highlighting a number of key dates not least the class assemblies so please look out for this letter. One date for you to put in your diary is October 20th which will be parents evening and take place in the hall. Another key date is Monday 28th September – on this date at 6:30pm a workshop will be held for all parents relating to the topic of ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). You do not have to have a child who is affected by this or shows symptoms to attend – it is open to the whole school community and should be very informative.
Today we have had a company in to improve the vibrancy and quality of the communal areas in school. Unfortunately the pictures below do not do justice to how good these areas look but nevertheless I thought I’d share them with you. If you have the opportunity then please look out for them when you are next in school.
Finally, we have had a number of reports of parents parking on double yellow lines outside the front of the school and also using the staff car park. Please can I ask the minority of people who do this to use the car park at The Unicorn – this is in the interests of safety for the children. Thank you.
Have a great weekend and thank you for your ongoing support.
